My journey of creating a 3D video game environment has been nothing short of intense learning, experimentation, and personal growth. It all started with a course from Nexttute Education—30 hours of lectures covering the fundamentals. You can check out the course here:

I bought the course because I’ve always been obsessed with environments like those in Tomb Raider and Uncharted. But after completing the course, I realized my work felt unfinished. I had a clear vision in my head: I wanted to recreate something as stunning as Uncharted 4, the game that motivated me to dive into the gaming industry in the first place.
A course that was supposed to take 30 hours turned into a 7-month project. Still, I wasn’t satisfied. So, I set a new goal: to make my environment as realistic as possible, like the Uncharted series. That goal took me on another 8-month journey of trial and error, tackling challenges with lighting, rendering, post-processing, and even music production. After countless ups and downs, I finally reached the level of detail I had been chasing.
I’ve realized that playing games doesn’t satisfy me as much as creating them. Since I was a teenager, I’ve dreamed of crafting cinematic, linear video games that don’t compromise on any detail. My ultimate goal? To one day see a character that resembles me in a story I’ve created, with people experiencing the thrill and excitement of my work. I’m determined to bring fresh ideas and new visions to the gaming world and make my mark as a 3D environment artist and storyteller.
